The Tanzanian Afro pop/ dance duo made up of two dynamic personalities, Aikanavykenzo who is a rapper, singer/songwriter and Nahreel a singer and award-winning producer who made the bold choice of collaborating to start Navykenzoofficial also known as NAVY MOB.
The duo is signed under their own label The Industry Studios founded by both. The duo has collaborated with major international and Tanzanian artists alike, their major hit single Chelewa/Bokodo which topped charts gained popularity within East Africa and beyond and created a buzz which led to the release of Kamatia in 2016 with over 15k views on YouTube, its success landed them an ambassadorship deal with Airtel to join their “Jipime” campaign.
Our sound is not Bongo flavor, but Dancehall, although there is a lot incorporated in, but Dancehall is the key, and it will continue to evolve overtime.”
