Adelere Boluwatife Ayomide is a Nigerian-born creative entrepreneur, culture advocate, and founder of Alerry Music, a Canadian-based independent record label rooted deeply in African heritage and powered by modern innovation.

Born on May 15, 2000, in Eruwa, Ibarapa East of Oyo State, Nigeria, Adelere hails from the historic Ayan Gangan family of Agbo Ile “Anko,” a generational line of revered Yoruba traditional drummers. The gangan also known as the talking drum is more than just an instrument in his lineage; it is a sacred vessel of ancestral voice and cultural identity. For generations, the family has preserved the spiritual and cultural rhythms of the drum, with each era evolving the tradition in new directions.
In the 1960s, his family began merging their musical heritage with technology. This legacy was carried further by his father, Adelere Olusegun Michael widely known as AS Alerry Dube who formally established Alerry Global Concept Limited in 2008, laying the foundation for what would later become Alerry Music.
Today, based in Canada, Adelere Boluwatife represents a rising class of globally minded Nigerian creatives who are blending cultural preservation with modern expression. Alerry Music was founded not only to elevate the cultural sound of the Yoruba talking drum but also to empower a new generation of African talents through music, entrepreneurship, and technological advancement.
Operating independently, Alerry Music is committed to artist development, equipment innovation, and talent empowerment. The label has collaborated with and supported a growing roster of multidisciplinary talents, including:
• Agaga Sunday – singer/songwriter
• Mary Emaku – music producer & DJ
• Akinbola Tobiloba Mayowa – visual artist & VFX photographer
Beyond music production, the label also engages in building and distributing custom-made audio speakers, traditional gangan drums, and sleeve engine systems—entirely manufactured from scratch in Nigeria.
Adelere’s journey is a blend of tradition, travel, and transformation. He spent his formative years in Eruwa and completed his secondary education at Ise Oluwa Montessori High School in Ibadan. He later studied at Lead City University before relocating to Egypt, where he lived in Alexandria and New Cairo. His move to Canada marked another evolution in his path, as he expanded his skillset in web development, scaffolding, and heavy-duty machinery bridging creativity with technical knowledge.
Through Alerry Music, Adelere Boluwatife Ayomide is not just preserving his family’s legacy the is building a future where African sounds, stories, and skills resonate on a global stage. His work stands as a testament to the power of heritage, innovation, and the relentless spirit of young African creatives.
