Detty December Festival Announces Lagos Takeover: 6–31 Dec,“Africa’s Real Summer” Goes Citywide

LAGOS, NIGERIA, Livespot360’s highly anticipated Detty December Festival has officially kicked off in Lagos, lighting up the city with a dynamic, multi-stage takeover running through December 31. Described as “Africa’s Real Summer,” the festival is now in full swing, activating venues with high-energy performances from top African and global stars, signature day-to-night parties, fashion-forward pop-ups, culinary showcases, art installations, and immersive cultural moments.

This year’s edition introduces an elevated roster of contemporary hitmakers and culture-shapers, spotlighting artists who currently dominate charts, TikTok, and global tours. The festival features a blend of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Alté, R&B, Hip-Hop, and genre-blending acts, reflecting the sound of today’s youth culture.
