In Nigeria’s vibrant Afrobeats scene, where rhythm drives the culture and sound shapes identity, a young producer from Edo State is making his mark. Godfrey Agbonifo, better known as Gstickz, was born on April 27, 2000, and since 2020, he has been building a name as one of the most promising new producers in the industry.

Gstickz doesn’t just produce music he experiences it as a spiritual journey. “Every sound carries energy,” he explains, and his beats reflect that belief. Each creation is layered with depth, emotion, and intention, pulling listeners into immersive soundscapes that balance street grit with soulful undertones. His style, which he describes as Afrobeats Fusion, brings together rhythm, emotion, and experimentation to deliver something fresh yet familiar.
Inspired by production heavyweights like KTIZO, Sarz, P.Priime, Blaisebeatz, and London, Gstickz has developed a versatile edge. From drum-heavy, dancefloor-ready beats to dreamy, atmospheric chords that stir emotion, his sound adapts and evolves yet always remains distinctively his.
Already, he’s catching attention with credits on GT Milly’s “Body” (2023) and “Philo” (2024). His breakthrough, however, comes as the producer behind Chella’s “My Darling” (2025), a song that has sparked multiple collaborations with stars like Diamond Platnumz, Zee Nxumalo, Tawsen, and NOT3S.

Looking ahead, Gstickz dreams of producing for Burna Boy, Rema, Tems, Victony, Serotonin, and Omah Lay artists whose global reach aligns perfectly with his sound.
For him, the real magic lies in exploration: “It’s about diving into the unknown, layering rhythms, and discovering a song that didn’t exist before.” That creative philosophy not only defines his process but also sets him apart in a crowded industry.
As Gstickz continues to rise, one thing is clear: he is more than a beatmaker. He is a visionary turning rhythm into spirit, sound into feeling, and Afrobeats into a truly immersive experience.
